If you want to contribute to baking a difference in our community, here are some recommended recipes you may use for our weekly baked good batch. We have crafted these recipes together to be the simplest, least expensive, yet nutritious treats for the people in our community. You can make however many servings and add whatever toppings you want to. Remember, these are just recommendations and you can bake whatever treats you want to, as long as they are approved by us. Be as creative as you want and have fun!
Sheet Pan Brownies (24 Brownies)
Directions:

Preheat the oven to 350°F.
-
Grease a 9x13 pan.
-
In a saucepan, melt the butter. Continue cooking for a few minutes until it smells nutty and has light brown specks (optional but worth it).

Remove from heat and stir in the oil.
-
Whisk in the sugar and let cool for 2–3 minutes.
-
Add eggs one at a time, whisking well after each addition.
-
Stir in vanilla.
-
In a separate bowl, whisk together dry ingredients. (Espresso powder is optional).
-
Fold dry ingredients into wet ingredients.
-
Stir in chocolate chips if using.
-
Spread evenly in the prepared pan.
-
Bake 22–24 minutes, until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out with a few moist crumbs attached.

Cool completely before cutting into 24 brownies.
-
Package each individually.
Add-ins:

peanut butter swirl
Peanut Butter Cookies (32 cookies)
Simple ingredients and packed with homemade comfort.
Directions

Preheat oven to 350°F.
-
Mix all ingredients together.

Roll into balls and flatten with a fork.

Bake 8–10 minutes.

Let cool for 5 minutes then move to drying rack.

Once fully cool package individually.
Add-ins:

Chocolate chips (normal or white)

M&M's
-
peanuts
Simple Banana Bread (1 Large loaf or 2 small loaves)
Directions

Heat oven to 350°F.
-
Mash bananas.
-
Mix in eggs, oil, and vanilla.
-
Add dry ingredients.
-
Pour into greased loaf pans.
-
Bake for 50–60 minutes.
-
Let cool for 5 minutes then move to drying rack.

Once fully cool cut into slices and package individually.

Soft Oatmeal Raisin Cookies (24 cookies)
Nutritious, comforting, and easy to make in large batches.
Directions

Preheat oven to 350°F.
-
Cream butter and sugars together.
-
Add eggs and vanilla.
-
Mix dry ingredients separately, then combine.
-
Fold in oats and raisins.
-
Bake 10–12 minutes.
-
Let cool for 5 minutes then move to drying rack.

Once fully cool package individually.
Add-ins:

Apple Cinnamon Muffins (24 Muffins)
Directions:

Preheat the oven to 400°F.
-
Mix dry ingredients.
-
In another bowl mix wet ingredients.

Combine gently, then fold in chopped apples.
-
Fill muffin tins.
-
Bake for 16–20 minutes, until tooth pick comes out clean.
-
Let cool for 5 minutes then move to drying rack.

Once fully cool package individually.

walnuts

raisins
Toppings:

Streusel Topping Recipe:

1 1/4 cup all purpose flour
-
1/2 cup light brown sugar
-
1/4 cup granulated sugar
-
2 tsp cinnamon
-
pinch of salt
-
1/2 cup unsalted butter
Directions:

Preheat the oven to 350°F.
-
Line muffin tins or grease them.
-
Mash bananas in a large bowl.
-
Add eggs, oil, milk, and vanilla. Mix.

Add flour, oats, sugar, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
-
Stir until just combined.
-
Fill muffin cups about ¾ full.

Bake for 18–22 minutes.

Let cool for 5 minutes then move to drying rack.

Banana Oat Muffins (24 Muffins)

Perfect for shelters, outreach events, and care packages.
Directions:

Mix flour, baking soda, and salt.

In another bowl, cream butter and sugars together.

Add eggs and vanilla.

Slowly mix in dry ingredients.

Stir in chocolate chips.

Bake 7–9 minutes until golden brown.
